Hi Lynn,
I am Fiona, 53, with three grown up kids aged 33,32 and 30.
I have had R.A since I was 37.
So far it's been controlled by Hydroxychloriquine and been
relatively mild mostly compared to some.
Even so, I tire more easily and do experience pain at times.
I don't know if I will ever come to terms with it.
It seems to be a disease that doesn't really make sense to me.
But, this is a great site to talk to others who understand all about R.A!
The people on here are a very caring and supportive bunch!
I will look out for your posts!
Best wishes,
FionaSmile

Hi Lynn,

I have had RA for almost 3 years now, you are on the same triple therapy as I was, I am also on Folic Acid, I can't take Diclofenic as it kills my stomach. For 4 months in the beginning I was on Melexocam. Keep going with the tablets I am so much better now, I stopped the Sulfasalazine last August. My rheumatologist is very pleased with my outcome with this RA. There can be light at the end of the tunnel, try to be positive. Hope you get some relief soon. Thinking about you Lorna x
